Proof of eligibility to waive the application fee will be requested by the Office of Admissions as part of your supporting materials (e.g. Illinois Veteran's Grant award letter).
Waivers based on University of Illinois employment or offers of admission to UIC will be verified by Admissions within 1-2 business days of application submission. Waivers will not be granted until Admissions has received proper documentation or verified your eligibility.
If you selected a fee waiver option, but are not found to qualify, you will be sent instructions for payment.
