Future Business Tech and AI Leaders
Explore how business leaders use technology and artificial intelligence to enhance the value delivered by data, enterprise systems, and supply chains. You will take part in hands-on workshops, inspiring talks, and network with alumni and faculty to help you understand the roles and career paths that are in high demand.
Wednesday, June 24
Accounting Discovery Day
Discover why accounting is called “the language of business.” You will have the opportunity to learn how accountants drive business decisions, ensure financial integrity, and shape organizational strategy. Faculty and alumni will also discuss career paths for you in public accounting, auditing, government sectors, and consulting.
Thursday, June 25
Everybody Wants to Be a Marketer
Marketing is more than just social media and advertising. The marketer’s job is to bring data and people together, while leveraging customer satisfaction. During this session, you will explore career opportunities in marketing and find out how your creativity can impact an organization.
Friday, June 26
Summer Finance Day
Are you curious about careers in finance? Learn how a finance degree can lead to exciting roles in corporate finance, banking, and investment management. You will hear from UIC faculty and students about career paths and the skills needed to thrive in today’s financial world.
Program Requirements:
- Have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Be entering sophomore, junior or senior year of high school in Fall 2026.
- Demonstrate an interest in Business or related fields.
- Express interest in attending the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) for Fall 2027.
Location
Our summer programs will take place on UIC’s East Campus and will follow university, City of Chicago and State of Illinois policies and guidelines regarding campus visit programs. Students are responsible for transportation to and from campus.
