Participation Agreement

Guaranteed Admission Transfer (GAT) Student Participation Agreement

I understand I must:

Enroll at any of the seven City Colleges of Chicago on a full-time basis (12 or more semester hours each semester) in coursework that meets UIC transfer requirements toward the intended baccalaureate degree
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on both all transferable coursework taken at the City Colleges of Chicago, and coursework specifically required for admission
Track my degree progress in transferology.com (CollegeSource) by importing my courses on a semesterly basis; attend GAT-sponsored activities on the UIC campus prior to attending.

I understand that I will have access to select UIC facilities to participate in GAT-related activities. I further understand that I may not have any previous college coursework completed before entering the City Colleges of Chicago.

By participating in this program, I allow UIC and my community college listed in this agreement permission to share information including transcripts for reverse transfer.

Please note, each GAT cohort is scheduled only for the fall term of enrollment at UIC. I must submit a UIC transfer application for the fall term by Feb. 1 in the year I plan to transfer. All required application materials and supporting credentials must be received by UIC no later than Feb. 15.

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Student Participation Agreement

I understand I must:

Enroll in my community college and complete course work that meets the UIC transfer requirements and degree requirements toward my intended program
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on both all transferable coursework, and coursework specifically required for admission
Track my degree progress in transferology.com (CollegeSource) by importing my courses on a semesterly basis.

I understand that I will have access to select UIC facilities when participating in TAG-related activities.

By participating in this program, I allow UIC and my community college listed in this agreement permission to share transcripts for reverse transfer.

Please note, each TAG cohort is scheduled for either a spring or fall enrollment at UIC, but understand that some programs are only available in the fall term. I must submit a UIC transfer application for the fall term by Feb. 1 (Sept. 1 for spring) in the year I plan to transfer. All required application materials and supporting credentials must be received by UIC no later than Feb. 15 (Sept. 15 for spring).
